# Discovery

Discovery functions like an in-game encyclopedia. It lets you access knowledge from the past and, to some extent, the future.

As you progress through the game, explore new *regions*, and learn more about *Zienna*, helpful information will reveal itself to you in your *discovery* journal. This information serves as a reference point for players, and leveling *discovery* effectively works like an *ANiMA* completion log.

Once you've earned a certain amount of *reputation*, you can suggest changes and add new content to *discovery* to earn even more *reputation*.

A skill in its own right, *discovery* includes:

* **Tomes** **of** **Knowledge (*****Wiki*****)**: detailed information on each skill, including mechanics, *action* times, *drop* rates, *mastery* data, performance *modifiers*, and *tool* analysis.
* **Questing Codex**: a record of *quests*, including their objectives, *rewards*, and associated characters.
* **Lore**: all historical texts and stories of the *Known Domain*.
* **Bestiary** **Journal**: information about every *hostile NPC* and enemy encountered.
* **Completion** **Log**: a record of achievements, milestones, and progress.
* **Analytics**: in-depth data on player performance, skill development, and more.

Additionally, players can find rare *artifacts* throughout *Zienna* known as *ancient fragments.* These *fragments* can be exchanged for *knowledge*, thereby revealing a section of any skill's *Tome* chosen by the player.
