Note that each skill has a unique purpose. Let's look at *farming*, a uniquely *passive skill*, given that you don’t have to assign your character to *farming* once *crops* are planted. Instead, these *crops* will grow passively in the background, freeing up your character to train another skill during this time. Returning to the image below, we can see that there are currently 84 *items* found or used within the *farming* skill. We can also see what kind of *items* these are, including their use cases and sources. For example, *seeds* are used to grow *grains*, *vegetables*, and so on. Note that there are also use cases outside of *food*, including *cotton* and *medicinal* *plants*, which are used in *recipes* and other skills. Finally, we can see that *farming* has three *actions*, three *tools*, and a *sub-skill* associated with it. While we’ll discuss what these mean in the following sections: * *Tools* are generally required for specific *actions* and * *Actions* are specific steps taken to complete any skilling *task*. Ultimately, these *actions* will dictate which animations are visible in later versions. Lastly, there are: * *Sub-skill*s, which are mini-skills that require dedicated attention and unique strategies. Below, we can see that *composting* is a *farming* *sub-skill*.
