Dynamic Map Features

ANiMA breathes life into otherwise static gameplay via dynamic map features.

While a “set it and forget it” strategy is often implored in idle games, our dynamic map and location system, which responds to player activity, adds vitality to otherwise static gameplay and provides more active players with a slight advantage.

Elemental Dynamics

Every dungeon and region has a unique elemental composition based on the surrounding environment, displayed as Water (%), Wind (%), Fire (%), and Stone (%).

When a player uses a calling in an area with a high concentration of that respective element, they will receive beneficial combat performance modifiers from that calling.

For example, suppose a player uses a water weaving calling in the Drowned Isles, a region with a high water composition. In this case, the calling will deal more damage or extend the buff duration (depending on the calling activated).

Geo-Location System

The number of players actively gathering resources in a specific region (e.g., mining in Pyr) directly correlates to the time it takes to complete each gathering task in that region. This creates an interactive environment where players must monitor regional resource capacity and strategize accordingly to maximize their return and time.

For example, if there is an oversized number of players mining in Pyr, players will extract ore and raw minerals at a slower rate, as they will have to fight for resources against a larger group of players.

While encountering other players in an open world may not be the same, this adaptive system adds a sense of community despite the inherent restraints of closed-world idle games. In addition to giving more active players a slight advantage, this feature continuously drives players back to the map, an essential tool for navigating the expansive Domain and uncovering its hidden secrets.
